TS Department Mission:

Our goal is to provide our students, faculty, and staff with the most reliable and innovative technology to meet the needs of an ever-changing and increasingly complex technology, along with the support and training necessary to use these systems and technologies effectively.

TS Department Vision:

Technology is a fact of modern life. providing the latest reliable technology resources to faculty, staff, and students, helps ktech succeed in its mission in fostering the needed skills. A well-trained and skilled professional IT staff keeps college systems up-to-date, secure, and running smoothly. Technical problems are resolved quickly, and users are always provided with the tools & resources they need.

The Department of Technology Solutions (TS) provides innovative technology-based services and support to all ktech members. The IT Department implements technological solutions in alignment with the college’s mission statement and goals.

Student Support Services:

The Department of Technology Solutions (TS) provides modern equipment and support to facilitate the academic success and growth of each student. The TS Department aims to enhance the student experience by consistently maintaining and updating computer labs, smart classrooms, wireless Internet access, and academic software solutions to meet each student’s unique needs.

Institutional Support Services:

The Department of Technology Solutions (TS) provides instructors and administrative staff with first class support. The department strives to ensure that all members of the faculty and staff can work in the most efficient manner possible. IT seeks to meet each academic and administrative departments technological needs. This includes supporting the College’s Student Information System SIS, Learning Management System Moodle, emails, website, workstations, databases, and telecommunications.
